BPA is rebranding to our new trading name of British Skydiving. We've issued an open invitation to tender for the development of British Skydiving's brand personality and, from that, a new visual identity. See our Branding Invitation to Tender page for more information and to download the tender specification. The closing date for completed tender submissions is Wednesday 20 March 2019.
Calling full BPA Members who are eligible to renew online. Online renewal for the new BPA membership year, from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020 inclusive, starts on Friday 1 March. If you plan to jump on or after 1 April, you need to renew. If you have ratings (that need to be signed off), live outside the UK/Channel Islands/ BFPO, or are otherwise not eligible to renew online, a renewal form is included in your Feb issue of the Mag, or can be downloaded from the end of Feb from the BPA website. You can fax or post your completed form to us.
Are you a BPA Member aged between 16-21 years (or 24 years for the follow-on bursary)? Do you hold at least a basic sport parachuting qualification? Do you wish to advance your sport parachuting qualifications but lack the funds? Would a bursary help you to realise your ambitions in sport parachuting? Then you may be eligible to apply for a Bursary from the Royal Aero Club Tust. But hurry - applications close on 31 March 2019. See royalaeroclubtrust.org/bursaries. CIs of BPA Affiliated PTOs can countersign valid applications they support.
In case you weren't able to be with us on the day, here's the video of the BPA AGM 2019 which took place on the same day as BPA Skydive the Expo, Saturday 26 January, at EMCC Nottingham. There are more Expo videos on the BPA Skydive the Mag YouTube Channel.
