Rob Colpus awarded the BPA Jim Crocker Trophy for his Outstanding Contribution to Sport Parachuting

Rob Colpus is an icon in the world of sport parachuting who has made us so proud both on the national and international stage in an abundance of competitions and records. Over the years, he wrote a lot of the rules for Formation Skydiving competitions and designed many of the dives that remain in use today. His contribution to our sport, since the 1970s, is magnificent and varied, continuing long after he stepped down as an active competitor. BPA celebrates this, in his retirement year, by the award of the BPA Jim Crocker Trophy in recognition of his Outstanding Contribution to our Sport.

Jamie Arnold is BPA Taz Causer Experienced Skydiver of the Year 2018

Jamie Arnold is the BPA Taz Causer Experienced Skydiver of the Year 2018. This is for a UK-based skydiver whose achievements during the year deserve special recognition. In 2018, Jamie and team-mate Dan Guest (BPA Experienced Skydiver of the Year 2017) successfully defended the British National Freestyle title of their team, Volocity, for a 3rd successive year. At the 2018 FAI World Championships in Australia, Jamie won Silver in Freestyle as performer, again with Dan Guest as camera flyer. Jamie has pursued his dream, become a great ambassador for our sport, and an inspiration to others.
