Thank you to the 500+ members who supported BPA AGM Day held at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham (pictured), on Saturday 25 January 2014. Council 2014 met immediately after the AGM. The Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer were re-elected, and the Chairs of the main committees (STC, Communications, Competitions and Development) were re-elected. Thank you to all speakers at the afternoon seminars. Members' feedback on AGM Day is important in planning your event for next year - so if you were there, please let us know what you thought via social media or e-mail.

Results of the election of BPA Council 2014, as received (a little earlier than expected!) from Electoral Reform Services (ERS). Council 2014 met for the first time, to elect Officers for 2014, immediately after the morning AGM and awards presentation ceremony on Saturday 25 January 2014 at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham NG7 2RJ. Thank you to all candidates standing in the election and to all members who voted.
Voting in the election of BPA Council 2014 has now closed. The results, as received from the independent election administrators Electoral Reform Services, will be published here on the BPA website on Tuesday 21 January. May we thank all candidates for standing and all members who voted.
Warm up with coffee/tea and a bacon roll, on sale before the exhibition opens at 0930. The AGM at 1030 is followed by the presentation ceremony. Then you'll be spoiled for choice of afternoon seminars and meetings! The Annual Dinner takes place at 2000 for those who bought a ticket. Later, there's the Queen Tribute Band 'Rhapsody' and you can a dress up as a Robin Hood character - the best will win membership renewal for free! There's a late-night DJ, and fantastic prices on a selected range of drinks all day. Attendance is free of charge except for the optional Dinner. More on the AGM page.
Voting in the election of BPA Council 2014 closes at noon on Monday 20 January. Ballot packs were issued by post by Electoral Reform Services (ERS) before Christmas to all BPA full (voting) members as recorded on the BPA membership database at that time. Members who have not received their ballot pack, which contains the election ballot form that includes the security code for online voting, should report this to ERS customer services - tel 0208 889 9203 or e-mail - Customerservices[at]electoralreform.co.uk The ERS-managed voting site is www.votebyinternet.com/bpa2014
Tickets for the BPA Annual Dinner on AGM Night - Saturday 25 January at EMCC, Nottingham NG7 2RJ - are on sale from the BPA Office, price £25 each. Please phone 0116 278 5271 (0900-1700 Mon-Fri) or use the Annual Dinner ticket order form (see form for menu). The dinner is by advance ticket only. Please order by 17 Jan. After dinner entertainment (open to all BPA members and guests, whether diners or not) will include Queen tribute band 'Rhapsody', a DJ , and a fancy dress competition 'Robin Hood & his Merry Band' for which the first prize is a year's free BPA membership.
