Competitions » Job vacancy: Competitions Co-ordinator
Sport parachuting / skydiving is one of the most exciting and exhilarating sports in the world, and our teams of British skydivers regularly compete in top international events such as the World Parachuting Championships and Skydiving World Cups.
In addition, there is a vibrant domestic competitions scene of the annual British Nationals, UK Skydiving League and British Grand Prix.
British Parachute Association is the not-for-profit National Governing Body of Sport Parachuting in the UK. We are a membership association with over 6,000 full members, and nearly 60,000 student members each year. The BPA Competitions Committee, which comprises volunteer elected members, are responsible for this exciting dimension of our sport, including domestic competitions and British Delegations to international meets.
There is a growing annual programme of competitions which need organising. Thats where the new post of Competitions Co-ordinator comes in. Liaising between the Competitions Committee, competitors, officials, judges, host drop zones, uniform and other suppliers, and the Sport Parachuting Commission of the International Federation for Airsports, the post provides valuable administrative support to help our teams to focus on their performance.
