We are a large dropzone based in Lincolnshire with a ‘can-do’ attitude. We specialise in team-training and load organising. We have lots of turbine aircraft flying consistently to 15,000ft and are open 6 days a week.

Tandem
Coaching
Several members of the 2004 senior winning 4-way team, Wizards also coach at the dropzone and cater for all levels. The dropzone has more than 8 specific 1 on 1 coaches and a program has recently been created to standardise the training between them. Freefly Space run a school at the dropzone and are last years British team who went to the World meet 2004 in Brazil. They have trained many people on a 1 on 1 basis. We also have a qualified Birdman Instructor who coaches and organises.

Load Organising
We have FS and FF load organisers. We have recently organised a 28-way sequential FS competition and regularly do multiple aircraft formations. There are many other types of regular load organised dives such as tracking, atmonauti, wingsuit flocks and general head-up and head-down groups.

Food & Drink - on DZ
Target Skysports has a café open at weekends and snack machines running 24 hours a day. The café offers full breakfasts, cereals, baked potatoes, pastries, pies, snacks, burgers, chips, salads, soups, evening meals during weekends, home made cakes and deserts.
The only Drop Zone that offers Sunday lunches!

Our bar opens at weekends after the last airplane of the day has taken off. We offer a full range of lagers and bitters on tap, bottles, alco-pops, spirits and soft drinks. The Hibaldstow bar is legendary for its good parties at big events. We often bring in singers, DJ’s, bands and other performers.

Target Skysports is situated at Hibaldstow Airfield, which is south of the village of Hibaldstow on the B1206

Travelling from the North or West, the easiest way to approach the drop zone is from the M180. We are only 5 minutes away from Junction 4. Leaving the motorway at J4, you should take the A15 - signposted for Lincoln - and take the fourth minor road to the left. It is the first one to be signposted, and it is signposted Hibaldstow. The road ends at a T-Junction and you should turn right. The Airfield is about 500 yards further down on the left.

Travelling from the south, take the A15 northwards out of Lincoln - signposted to Scunthorpe and the M180. Turn right onto the B1206 towards Redbourne, drive through the village of Redbourne and the Airfield is on the right, just before the village of Hibaldstow.

Local attractions
Target Skysports lies in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Nearby is the market town of Brigg founded in 1204 which crosses the river Ancholme. This town provides the dropzone with its nearest supermarket (Tesco’s) and excellent Indian and Chinese restaurants. Another good place to visit, is Brandy Wharf the cider tavern. Many varieties of tapped and bottled ciders are available along with hearty food. Travelling 30 minutes south will take you to the city of Lincoln and its famous cathedral and thousand year old castle. Lastly, if you fancy a modern bar or simply a cinema, Scunthorpe only 15 mins away has opened a new complex near the city centre. There is also jet skiing, paint balling and leisure centres available in the region.

Special DZ Attractions
Target Skysports is the perfect place to team train. We pride ourselves in having an efficient manifesting system aided by our fast climbing aircraft.

At any one time, our dropzone has a minimum of 1 turbine aircraft. During busier times we can call in an additional 3 aircraft. Since 1996 we have held all but 1 of the British National Championships. In 2005, we had a record number of 53 teams in the 4-way event. Along side this, the 8-way, Artistic and Speed events were held over 2 weekends.

We fly to 15,000ft as standard, making us one of the highest altitude dropzones in the country. Coaches in FS, FF, Wingsuit and 1-on-1 can always be found.

You also have the advantage of booking a training camp at our sister DZ, Skydive Spain in Seville.  This DZ boasts the best weather in Europe and also has our fast climbing aircraft taking you to 15,000ft.

The Rigging Works
There is an extensive rigging loft at the centre where maintenance is undertaken of all the centre's student, tandem and hire kits. Turnaround for completion of work for private customers is usually within one week. Rich Aveyard also has a close working relationship with Thomas Sports Equipment, where he helped design and manufacture the new 'Viper' container. His rig is a prototype of this new design.
