Local accomodation

Food & Drink - on DZ
The DZ canteen is run by Rosemarie and Jane and provides an excellent range of food from full breakfasts, snacks, lunches to occasional evening meals. In the summer months, we have regular evening BBQs.

Food & Drink - nearby
Netheravon village has a pub (The Dog and Gun) which serves up food, a local shop and a fish and chip shop. Slightly further a field, there are pubs that serve food in Enford (The Swan), Upavon (The Antelope, The Ship) and Pewsey (The Woodbridge) as well as many others. Ask a DZ local for a recommendation.

There are also numerous indian, chinese, pizza, fish and chip and kebab takeaways in nearby Larkhill and Amesbury . The excellent Maldives Indian restaurant in Larkhill is quite used to catering for large numbers of hungry skydivers at short notice.

Local attractions
Netheravon is located high up on Salisbury Plain in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside. Stonehenge is close by, as well as the historic towns of Salisbury to the south and Marlborough to the north. See www.visitwiltshire.co.uk for details.
The DZ’s location means that on clear days you get stunning visuals encompassing a large part of the South West from the Isle of Wight in the south, to Bristol and South Wales in the west.

Other information
ID essential to gain entry to Netheravon Airfield.
