Food & Drink - on DZ
The DZ canteen is run by Tracy and Jenny and provides an excellent range of food from full breakfasts, snacks, lunches to occasional evening meals. In the summer months, we have evening BBQs.

Food & Drink - nearby
Lewknor village has a pub (The Leathern Bottel) which serves up food, a local shop. Slightly further a field, there are pubs that serve food in Chinnor as well as many others. Ask a DZ local for a recommendation.

Local attractions
Lewknor is located at the foot of the Chiltern Ridge in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside. See http://www.oxfordshire.co.uk for details.
The DZ’s location means that on clear days you get stunning visuals encompassing a large part of the South East from the Didcot area back to central London.

Accomodation

There are various bed and breakfasts in the area as well as pubs that offer accommodation (see left for a selection)

Special DZ Attractions
The club has an active social life centred around the site and Leathern Bottel bar – there are parties held throughout the year, culminating in the Xmas Ball. Details for all these are given on the website. As well as our own aircraft, we are organising regular visits from the Hibaldstow G92 for 2006 increasing the fleet to 3 aircraft and a rotary day to put a smile on the regulars faces.
