Experimental earlier ratification of Council minutes
To report to the membership more quickly, the Council is experimenting with electronic ratification of the minutes of Council meetings. When minutes can be ratified (ie, agreed between Council Members as a correct record) electronically, they will be published here on the BPA website earlier than usual. We are pleased to say that the minutes of the Council meeting held on 25 June 2008 were published (see the link in the grid below) on 14 July 2008, over a month earlier than the normal date of publication, which would have been 22 August 2008. Minutes of Committee meetings will continue to be ratified at the following meeting of the Council.

Minutes are not published until they have been ratified (approved) by the BPA Council. After the year's inaugural Council meeting at the AGM in January, meetings of the BPA Council are normally held every two months - in February, April, June, August, October and December - see the events page for future dates. We aim to update this minutes page with the latest ratified minutes by 1800 on the Friday of the week in which they were ratified.
