Canopy Formation

Also known as canopy stacking, this team event involves 4 or 8 team members linking their parachutes together to form predetermined designs as many times as possible within a set time. 

This, the newest of the purely parachuting disciplines, grew out of the advent of the square parachute development explosion of the 1970s. British Teams have consistently won medals at World Championships.
