About us » Invitation to tender 2018: new BPA membership database and BPA web hub
British Parachute Association Ltd will shortly be inviting tenders for an IT project.
The project is replacement of our existing BPA Membership Database system with a new Personal Information Management System (PIMS), and the replacement of our BPA and BPA Skydive the Mag websites, and closer integration in a BPA web hub to optimise BPA’s online presence. The PIMS system must be fully compatible with the new BPA web hub.
Tenders are invited from limited companies (or equivalent) that have been trading for at least five years and which based in the UK or have a permanent UK presence. Tenders must cover both parts of the contract, viz database (PIMS) and web hub. BPA does not envisage that the cost of the successful tender will exceed £150K + VAT. Consortia comprising partners each specialising in one of the areas will be considered, as long as the consortium itself is responsible for assuring a seamless interface between the two. All companies etc submitting a tender must have access to a qualified skydiver on their team, this is to assure both technical and cultural knowledge of the sport informs their work ab initio. BPA can assist in making our members aware, for example through social media, if an experienced skydiver is sought for this purpose.
Further details will be available in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document to be posted here as soon as it is available. We regret we are unable to enter into correspondence before we have published the ITT document.
If you believe you can met the requirements set out in our ITT (when published), please apply for a copy of the detailed specification following the instructions in the ITT.
